I am a strong believer in Maslow hierarchy needs. Children lower level basic needs must be satisfy before progressing on to meet higher level growth needs. Once these needs have been reasonably satisfied, one may be able to reach the highest-level called self-actualization. That is the number one step into interacting and teaching children. We insure parents the kids in our care Biological and Physiological needs will be met. Our teachers will make The kids Safety number one priory. Along with Love and belongingness needs - friendship, affection and love. At growing tree academy our teachers will treat the kids in our care with respect. Self-Actualization needs - realizing personal potential, self-fulfillment, seeking personal growth and peak experiences.
Lev vygotsky believe the environment in which children grow up will influence how they think and what they think about. I have to agree when children are given a safe environment that is playful with learning choices to explore with guidance. Those children become problem solver and critical thinkers at a very young age. That is what we promise parents and their children.
Injunctions on recognizing their need help them learn be confident in their nature potential will prevail. With Teachers help they develop the skills they are liken.
Our mission is to provide a warm, loving, nurturing environment for our diverse students. We welcome children from all cultures and background and always value their identity and heritage.
